Brief Description
The Ministry of Women Affairs, Gender and Community Development is currently spearheading the development of gender based violence (GBV) resource manuals for children, teachers and community leaders. These will be distributed in schools, amongst teachers' training colleges and amongst community leaders in order to raise awareness on violence against women and girls as well as inform on how to respond to violence. This is being done with support from UNICEF.
